Williams received her B.S. degree from the North Carolina Agricultural & Technical University in 1966, her M.S. degree from Columbia University in 1973, and her J.D. degree from the New York Law School in 1984.[1]

2013

Williams ran for election to the 2nd Judicial District Supreme Court. General: She was elected in the general election on November 5, 2013, with 20.6 percent of the vote. Ross Brady, Kevin A. Finnegan, Bernard Graham, Desmond Green, Dawn M. Jimenez-Salta, Mendy Mirocznik, Ilan Schoenberger and Kenneth Sherman were also on the ballot, competing for five open seats.[2][3][4]
