Three of the five seats on the Christian County Public Schools school board were up for general election on November 8, 2016. Michael Bailey ran unopposed and won election to the District 1 seat. District 2 incumbent Teresa Moss lost her seat to challenger Susan Hayes in her bid for re-election. Incumbent Linda Keller defeated Thomas Douthitt to win re-election to the District 4 seat. Betty Lou Cherry originially filed to run for the District 4 seat but withdrew from the race before the election.[1]
