|Beverly obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center – Touro Law School in Central Islip, NY, and a BS from St. John’s University. As a servant leader, Beverly always puts her community and the welfare of the vulnerable first. She has provided countless pro bono hours, volunteering her time and legal training to represent some of NYC’s most vulnerable, including domestic violence victims. Beverly believes in grassroots and local leadership, and places the highest priority on building community through engagement and empowerment. She is most proud of her leadership development and mentorship work with young people through her sorority. As a Professional Registered Parliamentarian, Beverly remains active as a leader in her church, sorority, and community board, using her skills to empower these and other organizations. A three-time cancer survivor, Beverly’s work is rooted and ordered by her unwavering faith. Her tenacity fuels her relentless commitment to justice, grounded in her guiding principles of wisdom, integrity, service, and experience.
