Beverly Uhlenhake
Beverly Uhlenhake (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Maine State Senate to represent District 8. She lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Biography
Uhlenhake earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University in 1994 an a master's degree from Iowa State University in 1997. Her professional experience includes working as a commercial Real Estate broker.[3]

|- Bev knows from her experience that good governance comes from understanding the needs of people and recognizing the perceived barriers to solutions. Good governance comes from listening before speaking and understanding the views of all sides. Good governance comes from thoughtful decision making that first and foremost makes people its priority, which is what she will lead with every day as State Senator.
- Bev believes that healthcare is a basic human right. The current pandemic makes it even clearer that all should have access to affordable, quality healthcare, no matter one's employment status.
- Bev has worked hard over her time on Brewer City Council to keep property taxes low. As a state senator, Bev will ensure that towns and their schools receive appropriate funding so that property tax payers are not burdened with the responsibility.
