Biagio J. DiStefano
Biagio J. DiStefano is a former multi-bench judge for the county, surrogate's and family courts of Madison County, New York. He began in this position in 1998, following his election. He was re-elected in 2007 to a term that would have ended in 2017.[1] DiStefano retired from the bench on April 28, 2015.[2]
Education
DiStefano attended Waynesburg College for his B.A. and the University of Puget Sound for his J.D.[1][3]
Career
DiStefano began his career in 1978 as an assistant district attorney. He then became a hearing examiner for the family court in 1985. He worked in that capacity through 1997. In 1998, he joined the Madison County Court as a multi-bench judge.[1]
