I am a longtime advocate for working families and community-centered leadership. I began my career in special education, working directly with students and families and supporting individualized learning needs in public schools. Currently, I am the Director of Human Resources and Equity for a local unionized nonprofit, where I lead organizational strategy, workforce development, and equity initiatives. My public service and advocacy work focuses on increasing access to resources so families can thrive (not just survive), strengthening public schools, and ensuring that people’s voices are heard in the decisions that affect their lives. I live in Weber County with my spouse, a veteran, and our three daughters.
  • Families in Weber County are feeling real pressure. I am focused on practical solutions that make daily life more affordable, including childcare families can count on, stable housing, and strong public schools. Every family deserves the chance to live, learn, and thrive in our community.
  • My career in special education and in human resources and equity has taught me the importance of listening deeply, understanding people’s lived experiences, and building systems that work for everyone. I will bring that same approach to the Legislature: accessible, transparent, and accountable leadership rooted in community needs.
  • As someone who began my career in special education, I know firsthand how much our students, educators, and families rely on a strong public education system. I am committed to policies that support teachers, expand resources, and ensure every child, including those with unique learning needs, has what they need to succeed.
I am passionate about policies that strengthen families and communities. This includes: investing in strong public schools, expanding childcare access, supporting affordable housing and responsible growth, protecting civil rights and ensuring equal opportunity, and improving economic stability for working families

My approach is grounded in listening to residents, understanding their lived experiences, and working collaboratively to create solutions that reflect our shared values.
