An effort in Centerton, Arkansas, to recall Mayor Bill Edwards was initiated in December 2022.[1] Officials in Arkansas must hold office for six months before being eligible for a recall election. Edwards was re-elected in November 2022 with a term beginning in January 2023, meaning he could not be recalled until July 2023.

The website of recall organizers listed three issues:[2]
- In the Fall of 2022, the Centerton Animal Shelter euthanized two stray dogs that were at the shelter for less than 24 hours. Cody Wilson, who was director of the shelter, was removed from that position after a complaint was made.[3]
- In 2017, Edwards requested that the city council reinstate two officers with the Centerton Police Department.[4]
- Edwards was re-elected in 2022 with a plurality of votes (48%) and didn't receive a majority of votes.
