Bill Goesling (Republican Party) was a member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 5A. He assumed office in 2018. He left office on December 1, 2020.

Goesling (Republican Party) ran for election to the Idaho House of Representatives to represent District 5A. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Biography

Representative Goesling was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and as of January 2020 resides in Moscow, Idaho. He graduated from the University of Montana with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, then began a 24-year career as a naval officer and aviator. During this time, Goesling completed combat tours in Vietnam and graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School with two master's degrees. After his time as a naval officer, he attended the University of Idaho and graduated with a doctorate in education. Goesling then worked for 13 years as a financial consultant. He has served on the Moscow School Board, the Idaho State Board of Education, and worked as a mentor in District II Veterans Treatment Court, among other leadership positions. In his retirement, Goesling raised Scottish Highlander cattle on a 40-acre ranch.[1]
