Bill Goodman is a judge of the Nineteenth Circuit Court in Tennessee. He was elected to the court on August 7, 2014, and began serving on September 1. His current term expires in 2022.[1]

General: He defeated Kate Dyer in the general election on August 7, 2014, receiving 61.3 percent of the vote. [1]

Education

Goodman received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in 1974 and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1977.[2]

Career

Before his election to the court in 2014, Goodman worked as an attorney in private practice in middle Tennessee. He worked in that capacity for thirty-six years.[2]
