Goodman received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in 1974 and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1977.[2]
Career
Before his election to the court in 2014, Goodman worked as an attorney in private practice in middle Tennessee. He worked in that capacity for thirty-six years.[2]
