Business owner and military veteran. I’ve been married to my wife Fran for over 42 years. I’ve been a part of public volunteering my whole life, recently with the County of Orange with large animal rescues, helping a large team of other volunteers to evacuate and shelter horses and stock animals.

Our ranch El Rodeo Equestrian Center provides a ranch experience for disadvantaged kids every weekend, as we work alongside Los Angeles Police

As a city councilman I will advocate for improving fire safety to protect our homes and properties and support our local police integrated crime center. I will be a team player with my fellow city council colleagues to solve problems and bring fresh perspectives, along with financial innovation that as a 42 year business owner I can help with. I will bring integrity and honesty along with my communication skills to make Brea a better city.
  • Fire Safety, with a focus on getting much needed Heli-hydrants installed sooner then later
  • Transparency to all citizens of Brea, and communicating changes being made as well as much needed information on every project that would impact everyone’s quality of life
  • Financial Innovation by cutting costs on developer and business fees as well helping reduce affordable housing fees. I will be a better steward of our city’s funds and help increase our pensions to those who have earned retirement from the city of Brea
Community Facilities Districts is a policy that I want to advocate for, but reducing or eliminating this fee to low income affordable housing residents for future developments in Brea.
Fire Safety is important to me with our locations to the hills of Brea. With dry brush, abandoned oil wells there is a huge need for heli-hydrants in Brea. There is a developer agreement to install one, but the agreement states the heli-hydrant won’t get installed for a minimum of 5 to 7 years. That to me is not acceptable and needs to be installed sooner. We need these additional protections now
We should be non-partisan in how we conduct business, as we represent the citizens of our city
I look up to the life of George Washington our first president, but before he was president because of his leadership skills and how he never quit on his troops
Integrity, honesty and transparency. Being a follow-through person, a good listener and communicator as well as a team player are important characteristics to me
I know how to bring out the best qualities in my team members with my businesses. I can balance my books and I understand finances. I lead by example
To discuss public policies and offer solutions to address problems
That Brea is the safest city to live and work
Newspaper delivery on bicycle was first job, which I had for 2 years. Then fast forward to age 15 I worked in a grocery store for 2 years
The Lord of the Rings . The adventure and fantasy
In the jungle the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight
It is not necessary to have previous experience but it could help. Having business knowledge and how to work as a team player, to negotiate and understand business law and control over one’s finances are beneficial
Be non-contentious, good listener, creative thinking and being responsible are great skills for this office
Having the ability to work in the capacity of a council member and working with city staff to solve problems or help the city succeed and prosper
I found out why the ocean is so salty, bc the land never waves back.
If there are financial goals and policies in place this council has enormous accountability to honor those finances
