The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 17, 2014. Satpal Sidhu (D) and Luanne Van Werven (R) defeated Bill Knutzen (R) and Nicholas Kunkel (L) in the primary. Sidhu was defeated by Van Werven in the general election.[1][3][4]
