Bill L. Klapper is a judge for the Twenty-Ninth Judicial District in Kansas. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Sam Brownback, on September 9, 2013, to fill the seat vacated by retiring judge Jan A. Way.[1] He was elected to a full term in 2014 that expired on January 13, 2019.[2]

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Klapper was an attorney in private practice. He also served as a permanent judge pro tem in the Wyandotte County juvenile division.[1]
