Miranda is also the Mayor of Santa Clarita in California. He assumed office on December 3, 2024. His current term ends on December 2, 2025.
Miranda ran for re-election for an at-large seat of the Santa Clarita City Council in California. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
On December 8, 2024, Miranda was appointed as Mayor of Santa Clarita by the Santa Clarita City Council to replace Cameron Smyth.[1]
