Bill Novotny III is a Republican political consultant. He has been active in Wyoming politics since 2003 when he worked as a senior research assistant for Senator Mike Enzi (R). He has managed campaigns for candidates in Wyoming and around the United States and was elected Johnson County, Wyo. Commissioner in 2014.
Career
Bill Novotny III earned a B.A. in international relations from Michigan State University in 2003 and an M.A. in national security strategic studies from the Naval War College in 2007. While pursuing his M.A., Novotny also worked for Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.) as a senior research assistant.[1]
He was a commercial lender at the Bank of Buffalo from August 2007 to January 2008 and became a principal at Willow Glen Partners, LLC in 2008. He worked there until 2012.[1]
After leaving his job at the Bank of Buffalo, Novotny managed several political campaigns:[1]

In January 2013, Novotny became a partner at the 1892 Group, LLC, a public affairs firm based in Cheyenne, Wyo. As a partner, Novotny has worked with the Child Advocacy Centers of Wyoming and the transition team for Jillian Balow (R). When Balow ran for Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction, Novotny worked for her as a general consultant from March to November 2014.[1]
Political offices
Bill Novotny III was selected to represent Johnson County, Wyo. as a delegate at the 2012 Republican National Convention. He has also served as a state committeeman for the Republican Party of Wyoming. In 2012, he was the chairman of candidate recruitment for the Republican Party of Wyoming central committee.[2][1][3]
Novotny became legislative liaison for the Wyoming Department of Education in January 2015. The same month, he began serving as chair of the Johnson County, Wyo., board of commissioners.[1][4]
