Biography

Bill Raney lives in Morgantown, West Virginia. Raney served in the West Virginia Army National Guard and reached the rank of colonel. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology and an M.P.A. from West Virginia University. Raney's career experience includes working as a surface mine inspector with the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources Division of Reclamation and as the president and CEO of the West Virginia Coal Association.[1][2]
