Campaign themes

2012

Wright's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[1]

  • Lands
Excerpt: "We have thousands of acres of state land which are not federal properties, however the feds have denied access to our own property which was created for the states use. This recourse would not only benefit all Utah but enhance monies for education without raising taxes on our citizens."
  • Education
Excerpt: "Some solutions decentralize the process. We should by all means encourage schools, colleges and vocational training. Common sense should be taught. The good sense of the people will always be found to be our best protection. As we may drift with false educational ideas. Common sense will lead us to correction our cause."
  • Jobs
Excerpt: "Prosperity is not only a function of how much you make. it is a result of an economic wellness. Being able to keep the reward from your labors provides economic wellness in our communities."
