2016
Two of the five seats on the Anaheim Elementary School District Board of Education were up for by-district general election on November 8, 2016. Trustee Area 1 Incumbent Jackie Filbeck defeated challenger Billie Joe Wright to win another term on the board. In Trustee Area 3, newcomer Jose Magcalas was the only candidate to file for the open seat. Because of this, he was elected to the seat by default.[1][2]
