Billy Baze is an Oklahoma associate district court judge for Choctaw County, which is located in District 17.[1] He was appointed by Governor Mary Fallin in April 2014.[2] He was elected to the position in 2014 for a term that expired on January 13, 2019.[3]

General: He defeated Thomas J. Hadley in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 68.6 percent of the vote. [3] 

Education

Baze received both his undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.[2]

Career

Baze has formerly served as an assistant district attorney in Choctaw County, Oklahoma and as an appellate attorney for the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System.[2]
