Billy Hewes
Billy Hewes (b. October 27, 1961) is a former Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing the 49th Senatorial District.[1]
Hewes joined the Mississippi State Senate in 1992 and served in that position until 2012. He served as Senate President Pro Tempore from 2007 to 2012.
Hewes has been Owner/Agent of Billy Hewes III Insurance Agency from 1985 to the present. He has also been a Real Estate Broker for Billy Hewes Real Estate since 1989.
Hewes earned his Bachelor's from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1984.
