Billy Horne (Georgia)
Billy Horne is a former Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 71 from 2005 to 2013.
Biography
Horne's professional experience includes working as an engineering manager with Alternate Energy Systems, Incorporated from 1999 to 2008, engineer with the Atlanta Gas Light Company from 1992 to 1999, and a grassroots political activist.
He was chairman of the Coweta County Republican Party in 2004 and vice chair from 1998 to 2004.[1]

Horne ran for re-election to the 71st District seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the July 20 primary and no one filed to run against him in the general election. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]

2008
In 2008, Horne was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 71. Horne (R) finished with 20,155 votes while his opponent Jason Smith (D) finished with 5,994 votes.[3] Horne raised $34,084 for his campaign fund.[4]
