Billy Joe Landrum was a judge for the Eighteenth Judicial District of Jones County, Mississippi.[1] He was re-elected in 2010.[2]

Landrum was defeated in his bid for re-election to the court in 2014 and stepped down when his term expired.[3]

Landrum ran for re-election to the Eighteenth Judicial District Court.
General: He faced Grant Hedgepeth, J. Ronald Parrish, and Dal Williamson in the general election on November 4, 2014.Landrum received 27.6 percent of the vote in the general election. Because neither candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, he competed against Williamson in a runoff election held November 25, 2014. Landrum was defeated in the runoff, receiving 33 percent of the vote.[3] 

2010

Landrum was re-elected to Mississippi's Eighteenth Judicial District Court after running unopposed.[2]

Education

Landrum earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, going on to receive an LL.B. from Mississippi College. He was admitted to the bar in 1967.[4]

Career

Prior to joining the bench, Landrum was a general practice attorney.[5]
