- I am experienced in a wide variety of issues that concern District 23A, including education, agriculture, government, leadership, and business. I am also a father and husband, which gives me a vested interest in the future of our district.
- The reason I'm seeking this position is the exact same reason why I joined the Army, became a teacher, and became the Mayor of my town - and that reason is to serve.
- I will work tirelessly to provide moral, faith and family-based representation of our communities' interests at the Capitol.
As a gun owner myself, I will be a staunch advocate and defender of our Constitutionally-guaranteed gun rights in St. Paul.
As a conservative teacher, I can influence our education system in a way that provides options to parents without hamstringing our public schools. It is important that we have someone representing our district who truly understands the education system.
I will actively promote agriculture and advocate for our fellow District 23A farmers and producers at the Capitol. Our economy is driven by agriculture. Too much regulation in agriculture hinders our farmers and producers, and creates instability.
As your representative and a soldier myself, I will work to promote the welfare of all service members, past and present. I believe it is only right to fight and advocate for those who have fought and sacrificed much for all of us.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
