Two Black River & Medina School District Income Tax Implementation measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Black River and Medina school district areas which are in Medina County.
The Black River measure sought to implement an income tax which will be set at a rate of .75 percent for a period of five years in order to pay for current expenses in the school district.
The Medina measure sought to implement an income tax which will be set at a rate of .50 percent for a continuing period of time in order to pay for current expenses in the school district.[1]
