Bob Bastian was a member of the Twin Rivers Unified School District school board in California, representing Trustee Area 4. Bastian assumed office in 2007. Bastian left office on January 12, 2022.

Bastian won re-election to the Twin Rivers Unified School District school board to represent Trustee Area 4 in California outright after the general election on June 5, 2018, was canceled.

Bastain died on January 12, 2022.[1]

Bob Bastian was a resident of Sacramento County, California. Bastian graduated from Grant Union High School before taking a position in the maintenance department of the Rio Linda School District while he earned his teaching credentials from Sacramento State College. He spent his career teaching in that same school district before he retired in 1994. Bastian also served as the president of the Rio Linda Education Association and as a member of the Rio Linda Elverta Chamber of Commerce.[2]

Bob Bastian ran unopposed and won the Area 4 seat in the general election on June 3, 2014.

Results

Bastian won the Area 4 seat by default and did not appear on the ballot.[3]

The Sacramento County Department of Voter Registration and Elections does not publish and freely disclose school board candidate campaign finance reports.

Endorsements

Bastian did not receive any endorsements for his campaign.

2012

Bastian ran unopposed and won the Area 4 seat with a two-year term by default without appearing on the ballot.[4]
