|- Experience. I have served four terms in the Assembly as a young man, and five years on the Las Vegas City Council (2012-2017).
- Experience. I have spent my entire political life stopping government from wasting your money, and will continue with your vote.
- Experience. As a 20-year = entrepreneur and Certified Public Accountant, I have owned and operated multiple successful businesses in Las Vegas.
Education is another personal passion. Even in the Legislature, I championed parent involvement in schools, and alternatives to the way we do it. I volunteered to start a successful charter school (Founders' Academy, https://www.fcalv.net/), serving as the startup treasurer on the executive committee. It was a lot of work.
Emergency Services is another passion. I graduated Metro's Citizens Police Academy and am certified in the ICS used for emergency response, with an Extra Class ham radio license (WB7EHN).
The City operates a very large and complex water treatment plant. It is the most interesting tour that the City has to offer. As a long-time science geek, the live biologic chemistry they harness to clean our used water amazes me. So I am passionate about our water.

Beers' campaign website outlined his position on the proposed Queensridge-Badlands development:
“ | The Queensridge-Badlands Golf Course has generated its share of headlines and controversy. The Las Vegas City Council will decide the future use of the 180 acres that has been at the center of a contentious debate between current Queensridge residents, golf course-side homeowners and the developer that owns the land.
The one voice that needs to be heard is that of the city taxpayers. That is Councilman Beers’ priority. A FEW FACTS ABOUT THE BADLANDS DEAL
There are over 600,000 residents in Las Vegas. The city has a responsibility to provide essential city services to the residents, such as police, firefighters, emergency services, roads and much more. Being forced by a 'select few' homeowners to protect their golf course views will take an estimated $30 million of tax money that could be spent on needed services. Owning a failed golf course is not essential for the people of Las Vegas. Councilman Beers has vowed to not let you pay for their 'problem'.[13] |

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the following would be Beers' priorities for the city council if re-elected: "Common-sense perspective to City Council decisions, fiscal responsibility, ensure Ward 2 continues to get infrastructure and police and fire services."[15]
