Biography
Brinson earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. Brinson served in the United States Army for 28 years.[1] Prior to his appointment to the North Carolina State Senate District 2, Brinson served as a member of the Board of Aldermen in New Bern, North Carolina. [2]
