Bob Carr (Republican Party) ran for election to the Michigan House of Representatives to represent District 107. He lost in the Republican primary on August 2, 2022.

Carr was a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Michigan. Carr withdrew from the election before the primary scheduled for August 7, 2018.

Carr was a Democratic candidate for District 37 in the Michigan State Senate in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections.[1]

Biography

Bob Carr was born in Hillsdale, Michigan. He received bachelor's degrees in communications and political science from Loma Linda University in 1970 and attended Northern Colorado University for some graduate study. Carr's professional experience includes working in community development through historic preservation. He was credentialed as an airplane pilot and has been affiliated with the Experimental Aircraft Association and the American Short Line & Railroad Association.[2]

I was a ward of Michigan Children's Aide Society. 22 foster homes. I was abled to attend 4 year coed boarding Highschool s and I worked. Attended a boarding University. Worked. 2 BAs. I graduated while volunteering a year doing community crisis management. In Washington DC I worked for the Office of the President's Office of Economic Opportunity & on Capitol Hill. In 1974 I returned to Michigan as Mackinac Island Chamber of Commerce Director. Since 1974 I have done Community Development, job producing projects throughout Michigan.

Senator Everett Dirksen. Worked across the aisle.
Mark Twain my favorite author. Romans 12 of the Bible my favorite guide.
It's all about people. Service to Michigan Open to everyone. Available to ALL media. Use the Senator megaphone to PERSONALLY communicate with our Michigan family.
I have broad experience. That had become the defining issue in the Senator Campaign. It seems I am the beginner of community projects. I get people to have vision. Based on this: "Do not ask about the money, ask about the goal." and the need of the project to come to fruition

Old Ironsides restoration. Miss Ross got me saving pennies for the Frigate US Constitution. I got caught up in that.
