Bob DeWeese
Bob M. DeWeese (b. November 8, 1934) is a former Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 48 from 1993 to 2017. DeWeese previously served as Minority Caucus Chair.
DeWeese did not seek re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2016.

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Gretchen Hunt ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Bob M. DeWeese ran unopposed in the Republican primary. DeWeese defeated Hunt in the general election.[5][6][7]

2012
DeWeese won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 48. He defeated Scott W. Reed in the Republican primary on May 22, 2012, and defeated Susan Johns (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[8][9]

2010
DeWeese ran for re-election to the 48th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He also was unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, DeWeese was re-elected to the 48th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating David M. Watson (D).[10] DeWeese raised $103,129 for his campaign, while Watson raised $20,195.[11]

DeWeese has a wife, Angie.[12] He is a member of the American Medical Association, Downtown Rotary Club of Louisville, Jefferson County Medical Society, Kentucky Medical Association, and the Member, Louisville Surgical Society.[13]
