Bob M. DeWeese (b. November 8, 1934) is a former Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 48 from 1993 to 2017. DeWeese previously served as Minority Caucus Chair.

DeWeese did not seek re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2016.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Gretchen Hunt ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Bob M. DeWeese ran unopposed in the Republican primary. DeWeese defeated Hunt in the general election.[5][6][7]

DeWeese ran for re-election to the 48th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He also was unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

2008

On November 4, 2008, DeWeese was re-elected to the 48th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating David M. Watson (D).[10] DeWeese raised $103,129 for his campaign, while Watson raised $20,195.[11]
