Bob Martin is the former New Jersey Commissioner of Environmental Protection. Martin was appointed by Gov. Chris Christie in 2010.[1]

In 2007, he unsuccessfully ran to represent the 15th district in the New Jersey State Senate.[2]


Biography

Martin lived in England from 1991 to 1995. He has worked with large utility and energy companies in the United States, Canada, and throughout Europe. He retired in 2008 as a partner of Accenture, Limited Liability Partnership.[3]

Martin served as New Jersey Commissioner of Environmental Protection from January 13, 2010, until 2018.[4] He was succeeded by Catherine R. McCabe, who was nominated by Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy.[5]
