2017

Reuer's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

Establishing Public Safety
A safe and secure community is absolutely essential to the health of the City. We need to end political interference with the police department, while holding them accountable for reducing crime, re-establishing safe neighborhoods, and regaining the trust of Minneapolis residents.

Safe and Effective Schools
Education is the greatest tool we have to improve our communities, eliminate disparities and attract employers.

A Strong Economy
We need to create a business environment that reduces red tape, eliminates unnecessary regulations, and provides incentives for operating in the City

Minneapolis-focused Politics
We need a Mayor and City Council Members who represent the citizens of Minneapolis, not special interest groups.[5]
