Collapse all
|- Voters in the district want transparency in government and all voters should have a true choice in selecting who represents them. Secret decision making and extreme gerrymandering run counter to this and we end up with bad results such as the anonymous objection by a Representative to Cedar Gorge preservation funding in Ozaukee County and the colossal Foxconn failure.
- We must reduce taxes by making the government more effective and efficient, collect taxes that are due and reduce the record budget surplus. A smart criminal justice program addressing the effects of drug addiction will save money and return people to the workforce. Lowering the state sales tax, which everyone pays, and the elimination of the business personal property tax will be positive progress.
- Our best investment for the future is in access to a quality education for all. Recent investments in our public schools have delivered results, but there is more to be done to improve this and make schools safer. Deeply engaging and teaching students at all levels yields tomorrow's Wisconsin workforce and prosperity for all.
