Bob Ward

Biography
Bob Ward graduated from Walter Williams High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 1967, a juris doctorate in 1970, and a master's in public administration, all from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a doctorate of education from North Carolina State University. Ward’s career experience includes working as an attorney, as the city attorney for Burlington, North Carolina, and as an adjunct professor at North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Chapel Hill, and the North Carolina Central University School of Law. He has served as the president of the Alamance County Bar Association, as the director of the North Carolina City Attorney's Association, and as the chair of the Constitutional Rights and Responsibilities Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. Ward was first elected as a member of the Burlington City Council in 2011.[1]
