For too long, the voices of the majority of Monroe residents have been ignored. Small-town politics have prevailed and policies have benefited the few, instead of the many.
With the by-pass on the horizon, Monroe needs to make quick decisions in order to adapt to what will likely be a big change.
I'd like to represent all of Monroe, regardless of political affiliation or economic standing through this process.
  • Change the way council and the City interact with the citizens. The community must play a part in the future of our City.
  • Restore pride and the feeling of having a voice. Finally start working om quality of life issues like new animal care codes and minimum housing and commercial standerds.
  • Continue to attract businesse while maintianing our small town charm.
I have lived in Union County since 1978. I've witnessed many changes, both good and bad. I believe Monroe has the potential for greatness and I'm hoping voters will allow me the chance to help make that greatness a reality for all residents.
I look up to my Father and Brother. Both are amazing individuals that have served not only the United States in their Military Service but also in the local community.
I vividly remember the United States Bicentennial and all the amazing patriotic celebrations. I was 6 years old at the time.
My first job was working as a side order cook at the Quincys steak house in Monroe
The Right Stuff. I'm a space nerd.
As the Mayor you are the face of your city and its citizens. Something happens the community and media turn to you for explanation and guidance. It is an amazing responsibility but I am ready for the challenge to represent all of our citizens.
Restoring pride in our city and encouraging involvement of our citizens, not discouraging it.
I love ourt rich history, its amazing people.
We must become a vibrant safe city while preventing uncontrolled growth.
