Bobbi Rank is a judge for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. She was appointed in October 2016 by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. She replaced retiring Judge Kathleen F. Trandahl.[1]
Biography
Rank received an undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and a J.D. from the University of Nebraska.[1]
At the time of her appointment in October 2016, Rank was general counsel to the South Dakota Department of Education. Her professional experience also includes work as an assistant attorney general for Attorneys General Larry Long and Marty Jackley, in private practice with the Pierre law firm May, Adam, Gerdes & Thompson, and as a law clerk for the Sixth Judicial Circuit.[1]
Rank has two children with her husband, Scott.[1]
