My faith in God is the foundation of my life and my commitment to justice, dignity, and service to others. It is what guides my belief that every human being deserves fairness, respect, and opportunity—no exceptions.

I am a born and raised Texan. I am not a politician. I am a concerned citizen.

I am a retired civil rights investigator from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights, Region 6, where I spent my career standing up for the rights of others and holding institutions accountable. I am also a first-generation college graduate, earning a bachelor’s degree in speech communication with a minor in business, followed by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

I am running because integrity, empathy, compassion, and basic humanity must be the norm again. I believe we have lost our way, and the current administration is taking our country off course. It is time to get this train back on the track of progress—for all human beings, not just the powerful or the privileged.

This race is about restoring decency, accountability, and moral leadership. It is about doing what is right, even when it is not easy—and never forgetting who we are called to serve.
  • We must rebuild and reinvest in public education. Every child—no matter their ZIP code, background, or family income—deserves a strong public school that opens doors, not closes them. Teachers should be respected, classrooms should be fully funded, and students should have the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Public dollars must strengthen public schools—not be siphoned away to private interests. That’s why I will fight to rescind public grants and voucher programs that divert taxpayer money into private school attendance, leaving our public schools under-resourced and our children underserved.
  • We must honor the sacred value of human life by passing common-sense gun safety laws—background checks, limits on weapons of war, safe storage requirements, and policies that keep guns out of dangerous hands. Protecting our children is not a partisan issue; it is a moral one.
  • We must work toward a more compassionate and just immigration system. Families belong together. Hardworking parents should not live in fear. Children should not be torn from the arms of the people who love them. That is why I will stand firmly to stop unnecessary ICE deportations and push for humane reforms that focus on dignity, fairness, and keeping families intact. America is strongest when we honor the contributions of immigrants—not when we criminalize them.
