Bobby G. Peters is a judge of the Chattahoochee Circuit of Georgia.[1] He won re-election unopposed in the general election on May 24, 2016.[2]

Peters received his B.S. in criminal justice and his M.S. in education from Columbus College. He earned his J.D. from the Woodrow Wilson College of Law.[3][4]

Prior to joining the court, Peters served as a detective with the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office. He has also taught law, specifically criminal justice, at Southern Union State College and served as Director of the Regional Police Academy. He was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1979.[4]

Peters ran unopposed for re-election to the Chattahoochee Superior Court.[6] He was re-elected after receiving 99.6 percent of the vote in the July 31 election.[7]
