Before entering public service, my life has been centered on helping people—through ministry, community outreach, and supporting local families and small businesses. I’m also a husband and a father, and like many families in District 6, I want my children and grandchildren to be able to build their lives here without having to move away for opportunity.
I’m running for the Alabama State Senate because I believe District 6 deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and puts people ahead of politics. My focus is on strengthening our local economy, improving access to healthcare, supporting working families, and ensuring our rural communities are not left behind.- My campaign is about putting people ahead of politics and making sure the voices of everyday families in District 6 are heard. Too often, rural and small-town communities are overlooked while decisions are made far from home. I believe effective leadership starts with listening, showing up, and being accountable to the people you serve. As a resident and community leader, I understand the challenges our families face and am committed to representing their interests honestly and consistently in the Alabama State Senate.
- District 6 deserves real economic opportunity so families can build their lives without having to leave home. I support policies that encourage job growth, workforce development, and investment in our local communities while supporting small businesses and working families. A strong economy means good-paying jobs, reliable infrastructure, and practical solutions that help people keep more of what they earn. My focus is on creating opportunity that fits our communities—not one-size-fits-all policies that leave rural areas behind.
- Access to healthcare, safe roads, and essential services should not depend on your ZIP code. I am focused on practical, common-sense solutions to improve healthcare access, strengthen infrastructure, and support the quality of life in District 6. That means addressing real problems with realistic solutions, working across differences when needed, and staying focused on results rather than political headlines. I believe government should be a tool to serve people, not a barrier in their daily lives.
I am also deeply concerned with access to healthcare, particularly in rural communities where hospitals, clinics, and emergency services are often limited or difficult to reach. Ensuring that families, seniors, and working people can access timely and affordable care is essential to the health and stability of our region.
