Bobby Shows
Bobby Shows (b. August 28, 1938) is a former Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 89 from 1992 to July 1, 2016.[1]
Shows was initially elected as a Democrat. He switched his affiliation to the Republican Party in December 2010.[2]
Biography
Shows' professional experience includes being co-owner of Shows Brothers Farm Supply.[3]

Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[4] No Democratic candidates filed for election. Incumbent Bobby Shows was unopposed in the Republican primary. Shows ran unchallenged in the District 89 general election.
2011
On November 8, 2011, Shows won re-election to District 89 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and defeated Jerdon Welborn in the November 8 general election.[5][6]
2007
On November 6, 2007, Shows was re-elected in District 89, running unopposed.[7] He defeated Tucker Buchanan in the primary election.[8]
