Tullis was defeated by Republican Tom Cotton.[1] Tullis ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Arkansas's 4th District. He faced Gene Jeffress, Tom Cotton (R) and Joshua Drake (G) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
