I am a fourth-generation Texan, living in the Longview area for 58 years and on family land for 48 years on which I homeschooled 4 children. They are all grown. The oldest three are citizens of this state. They are small business owners and stay-at-home moms. My youngest is serving in the Marine Corps and wants to return to Texas ASAP! I have seven grandchildren and one on the way. They fuel my passion for a better Texas! I was blessed to be a part of pioneering a private school in the early 90's where David Barton of Wallbuilders (wallbuilders.com) gave teacher training workshops. My love for American History was stirred. That love grew as I schooled my children at home. In recent years I have begun facilitating citizenship classes through Patriot Academy (patriotacademy.com). I continue furthering my knowledge of our founding documents, and the intent of the framers of those documents through online courses at Hillsdale College. So, I come to you with heart and passion for the cause of liberty and for obvious reason...the preservation of our cultural stability...our beautiful Texas families! I desire to hold to those truths that, aside from recent times, have brought to us peace and prosperity! I am no career politician. I am an ordinary citizen who has a passion for training ordinary people to be solid citizens so they know not only their rights but their duty of vigilance to preserve what they hold dear!
  • It's time to clean "House". We need our legislative branch to be unified. There remains 21 republicans (including my opponent) in the House of Representatives that vote against "We the People"! We can no longer tolerate conduct that jeopardizes our very way of life as Texans. We must rid the House of career politicians who have completely lost touch with the wheels that make our state turn...the people!
  • The safety and protection of Texas citizens is our first and foremost priority! We must execute our right and duty under Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3, of our constitution to declare our state is under invasion. No bill is needed! We just close it!
  • I am committed to elevating Texas families. Closing the border is priority because families cannot thrive if they are not safe. Cultures that thrive are cultures who do not have to think about the basic needs of life, such as safety. Other priorities that build up the family structure are property tax relief, school choice for parents, and last but not least the protection of the unborn.
In addition to the above priorities, I am committed to measures that secure our election integrity. Also, I desire to see our Texas families thrive by the elimination of property tax and adopting policy to prevent foreign entities from buying up our land.

You will find a common thread running through my views on not only these issues but every issue that concerns "We the People". The common thread is my commitment to our founding documents. Both our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution embody principles that are tried and true. Whether on a national or state level, they provide rock-bottom stability to cultures It's time to serve Texas families by restoring the principles that made us great!
I will recommend two websites that will help make my political philosophy better understood: wallbuilders.com (David Barton-America's premier Historian) and patriotacademy.com (Rick Green- a former Texas State legislator who has aided in training congressmen and women about our United States Constitution)
We need leaders who stand on principle not personality. Somewhere along the way, politicians have failed to be leaders. Leaders serve. They do not expect to be served. I should clarify that they are elected to serve the people and not be bought by lobbyists or special interest groups. Nor should they use the people to create a political career for themselves. This is not the attitude our country nor our state was founded upon. We are blessed to live not only in a country but a state where blood was shed for liberty. We should restore the dignity of political service that shows honor and respect to "We the People" and to those who gave their lives for our liberty!
Honor, Truth, Respect, Good work ethic are all qualities I possess. Other qualities are good common sense...where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. This gift has served me well with an ability to discern between what is wasteful and what is essential. Also, I know what it means to serve. I come from the good stock of everyday folks who make the wheels turn for the life we hold dear here in Texas I have raised and homeschooled four children, and helped pioneer a church and a school. I have been in both direct sales and worked in retail. Finally, I am presently honored to be a caregiver serving the elderly. My hobby is the study of History, Government, and Civics, but service is perhaps my greatest strength.
I believe the core responsibilities for this office are to show up, be alert, and give it all you've got with passion for the people who put you there. Texas congressional sessions only last 140 days. It is not acceptable that during this time our House of Representatives takes long weekends while the Senate works overtime for the people on the weekends to get business done. Nor is it acceptable for any representative to not show up to vote simply because the subject matter might offend those he lobbies for.
Preservation of the Lone Star State I've been so blessed to live in... land of the free, home of the brave! And above all, to see her thrive again for the sake of posterity!
To remain faithful to the spheres of power assigned to them by the Texas Constitution. The legislature is to legislate laws. The governor is to execute them.
Who ever heard of a house with no walls? We will not have a state if we fail to act immediately to shut down our border!
I believe we need some fresh blood. We need some leaders coming in from the outside of the circle of politicians who want to make careers out of "serving" for term after term. They have not only lost touch with "We the People" they have insulted us by attempting an impeachment of one of our elected officials with no grounds for the impeachment. When the rule of law fails to be upheld among the very officers we have entrusted to make our laws the people are disgraced! These men have plenty of experience but lack conviction for what is noble, honorable, and true.
Any committees that directly serve the family. One that is especially dear to my heart is the abolition of abortion. Abortion and child trafficking are the slave trade of our time. I will quote our Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident. That all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. Among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. -That to secure these rights governments are instituted among men." Governments are instituted among men to secure the right of life to the individual not to take it away. Whole governments rise or fall on the issue of how the "least" among us are treated.

Abortion not only violates the right to life of the unborn but also harms the emotional well-being of women and may put their very lives in danger as well. But for the grace of God, the emotional and sometimes physical damage is irreparable. Special interest groups that claim otherwise do not want women to know how much profit they make off this industry. Texas must continue to lead the way in abolishing abortion.
That is a great question. Our last session of congress started with over $30 billion in surplus that the people paid in and should have had returned to them. There were freshmen congressmen and women fully prepared to do just that when they went in. They were compromised by the establishment. By the end of the session the establishment including my opponent went about and still goes about bragging that he got us the biggest tax break ever. A whopping $14 billion! Texans should be angry! Texas paid that in during the Covid pandemic. They should have gotten every dime of that surplus back. Career politicians should be held accountable for the over $16 billion that should be back in the pockets of Texans
