A Boulder City Hotel Tax Increase measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Boulder which is in Boulder County.
This measure was approved
- YES 23,593 (65.97%)
- NO 12,170 (34.03%)[1]
This measure sought to increase the hotel tax, the taxes paid by patrons to local hotels, by $2 per each $100 spent on a room. The tax did not have any year limit and was expected to generate near $1 million a year in additional revenues for the city.[2]
