Collapse all
|- 1. Protect Public Safety Without Raising Taxes Brad will ensure police and emergency services are fully funded using existing resources—not new taxes—so Spokane Valley remains safe without burdening working families.
- 2. Eliminate Unnecessary Taxes Like the License Plate Tab Fee Brad believes residents should keep more of their own money. He will work to remove unneeded taxes, starting with the license plate tab tax.
- 3. Stop Wasteful Spending on Projects Like Road Diets Brad will fight to eliminate unnecessary and costly projects—like road diets and other wasteful spending—to ensure responsible and efficient use of taxpayer dollars.
I’m also committed to fiscal responsibility. That means eliminating unnecessary taxes, like the license plate tab fee, and stopping wasteful spending on projects like road diets. People work hard for their money; they should be able to keep as much of it as possible.
What makes it especially important is that the council operates with local authority, separate from county or state control. It’s the guardian of Spokane Valley’s independence, values, and long-term vision.
It’s also essential to be a good listener. The people know what’s happening in their neighborhoods, and their voices should guide decision-making. Transparency and responsiveness build trust.
Having lived in Spokane Valley for over 30 years, raised a family here, and served as Valleyfest’s operations manager for 15 years, I know this community and care deeply about its future. I lead with common sense, integrity, and a belief in listening to the people—not pushing personal agendas. I’ll bring a steady, principled voice to city government, always focused on what’s best for Spokane Valley.
I believe elected officials must honor their oath to the Constitution, defend individual freedoms, and seek wisdom and guidance from God when making decisions. Leadership requires humility, moral courage, and a deep respect for the values that made our country and community strong. A council member’s job is to listen to the people, protect their rights, and govern with integrity, not politics.
You don’t need a political science degree to lead—you need the real-world experience to make responsible decisions, manage budgets, and solve problems. My background in logistics, construction, and business management has taught me how to plan, prioritize, and get things done efficiently.
Because they don’t have the guts.
I support regular audits, open public records, and clear communication so residents can hold their leaders accountable. When government is transparent and honest, trust grows. When it hides behind red tape or wasteful spending, people lose confidence—and rightfully so.
