Brad Galvez is a former Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 6 from 2011 to 2013.

Galvez worked as an area manager for a small chain of video stores until 1997, when he became a project manager and later limited partner in The Boyer Company, a real estate developer.

He received a B.A. from Weber State University and an M.B.A. from Utah State University.

Galvez ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Utah House of Representatives District 29 due to redistricting. He ran and lost against District 2 incumbent Lee B. Perry in the Republican primary on June 26, 2012. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]

The Sutherland Institute, "a conservative public policy think tank" in Utah, releases its Scorecard for Utah State Representatives and Senators once a year. The Score Card gives each legislator a score based on how they voted in the prior legislative term on specific issues which the Sutherland Institute thought were pro-conservative policies.[5]
