I grew up on a farm just west of Sioux Falls and learned the value of hard work and entrepreneurship from my father and mother.

After graduating with honors in high school and college, I settled in Sioux Falls and began a career in technology and sales.

I owned a tile and grout cleaning business for 5 years on the side and have also had a direct selling business for almost 30 years. I was a Project Manager with a privately owned cell phone business based out of Sioux Falls for almost 15 years and have currently been selling RV trailers and motorhomes for over 5 years.

In addition, I have been a local, regional, and national pro-life leader and active member at my church, serving in leadership roles while being a board member at a local homeless shelter.

My personal interests include drawing, reading, sports, and traveling. I love people and love life and look forward to representing the fine people of District 15 in Sioux Falls, offering a caring spirit and listening ear. We are better together and I believe South Dakota is a wonderful place to live!
Anything that protects children and promotes free enterprise.
I look up to my father because of his hard work and consistency, fiscal responsibility, and kind heart, but also because of his impeccable character and love for people. He is my hero.
I am caring and honest, and truly want to do what's best for THE PEOPLE; I am not interested in politics for self-gain.
I would like to leave a legacy of care and concern, and love for the people I serve.
My first job was clearing weeds in soybean fields behind our house for neighboring farmers. I did that for about 5 years every summer.
The Bible because it contains solid foundational truths for stability in the midst of an ever-changing world.
Superman, because who doesn't like a red cape and superhuman strength? :)
A struggle in my life has been understanding why some people do not share what I call "South Dakota Values," or "The Golden Rule"...do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
The governer should be a guiding person, but with respect for the state legislature as the governing body.
Perhaps, in the sense that they have personally experienced (and therefore understand) the operational procedures better; but not necessarily beneficial in the practical sense if they do not have the people's best interests at heart.
Yes.
Professional relationships with other legislators keeps everyone sharp and helps understand other perspectives.
I just heard a story last night from one of my constituents regarding an encounter he had with a former representative from our district who, although from another political party, listened carefully to his concerns and gave a thougtful response and offer of help to him. This was impactful to me because his main point, which I agree with, is the critical importance of LISTENING, no matter which side of the aisle you may align with politically. A GREAT REMINDER!
"Chuck Norris's keyboard doesn't have an escape key." ;)
I would like to provide tax relief to struggling citizens.
Heath and Human Services and Education
The government owes the people transparency because it should be beholden to the people.
I oppose changes at this particular time but would consider changes if they made sense.
