I am the founder of a construction company, an engineering company that specializes in factory Automation, and a fruit bows business.. As someone who cares about the future social and economic environment, I decided it was time for me to stand up and work for the community and people that have been so good to me. I think we need more business owners in Montgomery – business owners that participate in supporting the local economy and have a stake in it. I have conducted business and seen challenges in different industries. Because of my businesses, I am blessed to have the time and resources to serve as an effective elected official. I am not looking for my next political career move or self validation. My motivation is simple, I want to play a part in building a better Alabama.
Politics shape everything! The single most important issue that defines where we are headed as a state is education. A lot can be determined about the future of state by looking at how well the education system works.
There is a long list of people that I look up to, but here are a few.

My father

Ronald Regan

Trey Gowdy

Jordan Peterson
I witnessed a night launch of an Apollo rocket in the early '70s. I must have been about 5 years old, and it made quite an impression. Hard to believe it has been almost 50 years since that time.

There was no energy left in us at the end of a day. It was the most physically hard job I ever worked. It taught me a few things.

It taught me to do hard work and to accomplish something that not only benefits you - money in your pocket - but benefits your neighbor in some way. This was work that needed to be done for those farmers. And that work, even though it can be hard and hot and sweaty, was done with friends and joy.
Education will always be something that needs to be our highest concern. Alabama ranks in the bottom 10% of all K-12 education in the country and we need to work to change that.

Legislation related to gambling, marijuana, and firearms is coming. They will all be contentious.
Prior experience in government is not mandatory, but it is important for a candidate to have accomplished something in their lifetime before running for office.
I do not have any interest or plans to run for another political office. It is time to focus on the job at hand.
Yes, as long as basic principles are not violated.
