I am a proud middle-class dad of four and husband. I believe our property tax system hits the middle class hard and prevents people from being homeowners. At the same time, property taxes provide vital government funding. It’s time to make giant corporations pay their fair share and return fairness to California’s property tax system.

I am very proudly endorsed by:

Organizations:

-California Democratic Party

-SEIU California

-California Nurses Association

-California Federation of Teachers

Elected officials:

-California State Treasurer Fiona Ma

-California State Board of Equalization Chair Malia Cohen

- California Assembly Member Kevin McCarty

- City Councilwoman, Former Assembly Member, BOE 2 Candidate Sally Lieber

  • Make sure California’s biggest corporations pay their fair share
  • Make sure th e middle class is not being overtaxed
  • Make sure the middle class is not being overtaxed

Making the rich pay their fair share
I look up to Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. I agree with them, it is time to tax the rich and expand vital government programs.
I don't box myself into a certain philosophy, we just simply need to make the ultra rich pay their fair share and expand government programs. That is not really a philosophy that's common sense.
I consider my self a person of integrity, I did not take any corporate money on my campaign.
I really care about improving the life's of middle class California's.
To make sure taxes are collected fairly, while advocating for a more progressive property tax system.
I would like to have a roll in making our property tax system more fair.
My dad owns his own business. I Still do contract work here and there for him.
Charlottes Web. I love watching my kids enjoy it.
In a four year term as a member of the BOE around $400 billon of taxes will be collected, these taxes fund government programs.
The understanding that taxes are hitting the middle class hard, I am a middle class dad, I get it.
