I am a husband, a father of three daughters, and a mason by trade. I was born in Zumbrota and we have raised our family in my hometown. I served on the park board, city council, as President of the Zumbrota Lions Club and as Mayor of the city.
  • My primary reason for running for office is to protect the rights of my daughters to make their own health care decisions.
  • Having affordable health care is a basic need. I believe in helping serve small businesses and family farms by getting better access to heath care, having two sets of grandparents that farmed and by owning two small businesses in downtown Zumbrota.
  • We need to support our public schools and our teachers. Teachers have been on the front lines for years and need our public support.
As mayor, I supported our policy department to get to 24/7 protection in town. I also brought bonding money back to the city to help fix Jefferson Drive. The successes we had were only possible by working together to get these things done. People are tired of extreme partisan politics and candidates. They want someone to listen to them and work to try and help them.
