I’m a proud seventh-generation Wisconsinite, raised in a working class family. My dad - a union member. My mom - a hard working waitress - turned small-business owner. I worked two jobs in high school to prepare for the costs of attending college as a first-generation student. I worked at a community pharmacy where I developed a passion for public health and a desire to pursue a career as a Pharmacist. Then, on February 14, 2018, during my senior year of high school, there was a mass shooting at a school in Parkland, Florida. My first niece, Quinn, was entering preschool that year, and all I could think about was what school safety would look like for her. I took action, switched majors to Political Science and Spanish, and got involved. Since 2018 I have been involved with the Democratic Party, political campaigns on the local, state, and federal level, labor strikes, organizing movements, and gun violence prevention organizations. I led the effort to organize college students around the promise of the Biden-Harris administration in 2020. While in college, Governor Tony Evers appointed me to serve on the Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board, where I took concrete action to expand access to financial aid for college students and assist families in navigating loan repayment during the pandemic. Now, I channel my dedication to service into my small business and actively contribute to the promotion of public schools, public safety and public health of all Wisconsinites.
  • The new District 14 provides the greater West Allis community new representation in the State Assembly. With this change comes opportunity. We can make choices about what we want Wisconsin to look like next year, in five years, and even twenty years from now. That’s why I’m running. I have a track record of working with anyone for the sake of serving my community, including helping to move legislation forward in Madison. We need innovative, experienced leadership that will rise to the occasion for working families, future generations, and Wisconsin at large to find solutions for the challenges we’re facing today, and put into place infrastructure to prevent avoidable consequences in the future.
  • Since 2018, I have been involved with the Democratic Party, political campaigns on the local, state, and federal level, labor strikes, organizing movements, and gun violence prevention organizations. I led the effort to organize college students around the promise of the Biden-Harris administration in 2020 amid the Covid-19 pandemic and will do so again in 2024. Governor Tony Evers appointed me to serve on the Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board, where I took concrete action to expand access to financial aid for college students and assist families in navigating loan repayment during the pandemic.
  • Our campaign is building a strong coalition for our kids and community. We have been endorsed by leaders from all three municipalities in the district: West Allis, Milwaukee, and Wauwatosa. State Senator Tim Carpenter, who used to represent some constituents in the new District 14 strongly supports our campaign. Additionally, our campaign is endorsed and supported by leaders of the Hispanic, Black, and LGBTQ+ communities. We intend to continue growing this coalition .
Save Our Schools: As a graduate of a Wisconsin public school, my first priority as state representative is to save our schools. A new report showed that Wisconsin’s teacher shortage is getting worse. Our students deserve better. Period.

Keep Our Communities Safe: Great schools and communities are only truly great if they are safe. I will work tirelessly to keep our communities safe with a multi-faceted approach. Our kids’ and community’s safety is of the utmost importance to me.

Expand Access to Health Care: Everybody should be able to live and age safely and with dignity. We must protect and expand access to health care, including abortion care.
I worked two jobs in high school to prepare for the costs of attending college as a first-generation student. I first worked at Sniteman Pharmacy, a family-owned community pharmacy, as both a clerk and a Pharmacy Technician. It was there I developed a passion for public health and a desire to pursue a career as a pharmacist, though I later changed majors due to a significant interest in policy and politics. I worked at Sniteman's consistently throughout high school and would return to work during breaks from college.
Yes. In order to build coalitions and organize around the values we care about we need to build relationships with key partners and other legislators on the local, state, and federal level. Throughout my career, I have developed many strong relationships with leaders and I believe this will serve me well as a legislator in pursuit of building a coalition for our kids and community.
"We all do better when we all do better." - Late Senator Paul Wellstone. The pursuit of selfless leadership and representation modeled by Senator Wellstone is admirable.
