Brandi Gabbard
Brandi Gabbard is a member of the St. Petersburg City Council in Florida, representing District 2. She assumed office on January 4, 2018. Her current term ends on January 7, 2027.
Gabbard won re-election to the St. Petersburg City Council to represent District 2 in Florida outright in the general election on November 2, 2021, after the primary and general election were canceled.

General election
The general election was canceled. Brandi Gabbard (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.
Withdrawn or disqualified candidates
- Kyle Hall (Nonpartisan) (Unofficially withdrew)
Kyle Hall unofficially withdrew from the race and still appeared on the ballot. As Brandi Gabbard was the only other candidate in the race, the election was canceled and Gabbard was declared elected. Any votes the candidates received were not reported in the official results.[1][2]
2017
The city of St. Petersburg, Florida, held elections for mayor and city council on November 7, 2017. A primary took place on August 29, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was June 23, 2017. Four of eight council seats were up for election.
Brandi Gabbard defeated Barclay Harless in the general election for District 2 on the St. Petersburg City Council.[3]
