Brandon Johnson brings a lifetime of service, leadership, and integrity to Surry County. A dedicated public servant with deep roots in law enforcement and community outreach, Brandon stands ready to lead with compassion, fairness, and strength. His vision is clear: a safer, healthier, and more united Surry County where every resident feels secure, supported, and heard. Driven by faith and grounded in real-world experience, Brandon believes that leadership begins with listening, serving, and protecting all people equally. As your Sheriff, he pledges to be accessible, approachable, and a true advocate for every citizen.
  • 📌 We will crack down on drugs and protect our kids. The drug epidemic has stolen too much from Surry County. We’re going to hit the dealers hard—but we’re also going to offer hope to the addicts ready to change. And we’re bringing drug education into our schools—because our children deserve to be armed with knowledge, not fear.
  • 📌 We will lead with trust and transparency. No hidden agendas. No behind-the-scenes deals. I’ll support our deputies, motivate our team, and most of all—I’ll show up. Not just when the cameras are rolling, but when families need their Sheriff most.
  • 📌 We will be a faith-focused, community-driven Sheriff’s Office. I will lead with Godly values, compassion, and courage. I’ll stand up for what’s right, even when it’s not easy—because integrity still matters.
As a candidate for Sheriff, I’m passionate about public policy that directly impacts the safety, quality of life, and future of the people who live here in Surry County. For me, that means focusing on policies that produce real results — not headlines.

1. Public Safety & Accountability
2. Mental Health, Addiction & Recidivism
3. Constitutional Rights & Individual Liberties
4. Emergency Response & Community Preparedness
5. Juvenile Prevention & Youth Engagement
6. Responsible Fiscal Management
At the end of the day, my passion is simple:
Policies that make Surry County safer, stronger, more united, and more prepared for the future.

For me, law enforcement has always been about service and solutions — not politics.
